Haddington Show - Horse photos
I was at Haddington Show to take photos of the horse events. I became ill with an upset stomach and had to leave early. However, there are over 500 photos to look at. Just follow the link and all will be revealed. http://www.traffordphotos.com/gallery/Haddington%202009/

Peppercorn A1 Steam Locomotive en route to Edinburgh

The brand new Peppercorn A1 steam locomotive 60163 Tornado on her way from York to Edinburgh this morning, just out of Berwick upon Tweed and passing Ayton beside the A1 in Scotland.
I've just realised, an A1 seen from the A1...
60163 Tornado is the first main line steam locomotive to be built in Britain since 1960 and the first Peppercorn Class A1 since 1949, when 60162 Saint Johnstoun was built.
Tornado was named by HRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall on the 19th of February 2009 at York station.
Details of the construction, history and itinerary can be seen on the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust's web site, here.

Why?
Whenever you stop on a lonely country road for whatever reason, cars will appear from opposite directions.
Park in an empty car park and someone will park next to you.
Queue for a few minutes for an empty parking space and watch inconsiderate louts drive straight into disabled/parent & child spaces.
